Kate Loredo | CEO

Our founder, Kate Loredo began working in the utility industry over 14 years ago, collaborating with influential organizations from coast to coast and creating an impressive network along the way. Kate brings forth expertise in construction management, team building, professional development, strategic implementation, and company development. Kate has the innate ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with her clients, vendors, and even local officials. Kate understands technical requirements and consistently monitors the quality and productivity metrics of her team, to ensure deliverables exceed client expectations.

Her wealth of expertise allowed her to work in numerous high-profile programs, including several Wild Fire Prevention initiatives, Utility Undergrounding Projects and the City of San Francisco’s Automated Water Meter Program.

Loredo’s rigorous attention to detail and desire to inspire positive change made her a pioneering figure in the industry, her passion evident in every project. Equipped with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, California State Electrical Contractor’s License (C-10) and an active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, she followed her calling and began her journey with L2 Solutions in 2020.

Stevie Alexander, SHRM-CP | Business Operations Manager

Stevie is our Business Operations Managers, she works across all departments to align teams, set goals, execute initiatives and improve processes in order to help the organization run efficiently and effectively. She is a former US Navy Enginemen 3rd class. She has a demonstrated ability to develop and motivate staff to maximize productivity and control costs through effective use of resources.

Taylor Horton, CAPM | Admin Lead | Program Analyst II

As L2’s Admin Assistant, Taylor’s goal is to help support the team and growth of the company through exceptional communication, keen organization, and a desire to see her team excel. Taylor recently relocated to her hometown of Oceanside after obtaining a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Portland State University.

Ilario Romano, MBA, PMP | Program Manager I

Ilario is a Civil Engineer and certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 10 years of experience in the technical delivery, project, and commercial management of civil infrastructure schemes from the feasibility stage through to detailed design and construction. Solid experience across a broad range of small to large-scale projects. Equipped with a record of success in process improvement and demonstrated abilities in defining innovative solutions for safe and cost-effective operations.

Chris Banaga | Project Manager II

A skilled, customer-focused civil engineer with over 7 years of experience in the fast-paced Silicon Valley construction industry, who recently relocated to his hometown of San Diego and brings with him vast expertise in areas of project management, drawings regulation, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.

Gary Rodriguez | Project Manager II

After serving in the United State Marine Corps, Gary attended a local community college where he ultimately transferred to San Diego State University and received a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. Gary’s professional background includes working as a Project Manager for both a Top 25 General Contractor and a Top 25 Real Estate Developer with project experience scaling from the small TI’s to landmark life science campuses. Gary is a quick learner, a good listener, and a willing teacher. Gary is also a born gearhead, spending much of his spare time tinkering with classic cars, motorcycles, and watercraft.

Dianne Aglibot, PMP | Project Manager I

Dianne has been a pivotal member of L2 Solutions, applying her extensive project management experience across Closeout, Project Intake, and Streetlighting portfolios. She excels at capturing and streamlining internal processes, utilizing her people-oriented skills to lead program initiatives, and removing barriers to foster a collaborative environment. Dianne is passionate about cultivating stakeholder relationships, driving high-quality customer service, and leveraging data to make impactful decisions. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the vibrant offerings of San Diego, her home since 2008.

Marissa Lidyoff | Project Manager I

With almost 20 years of construction and design project management experience from single pole relocations to innovative high tech corporate campuses, Marissa brings tenure and a breadth of knowledge to the L2 team. Her focus on client satisfaction, efficiency, process development, risk mitigation and data management lends itself to successful project delivery despite challenging constraints.  Marissa’s loves a challenge and helping other’s professionally and personally and has been on the board of directors for 3 separate charitable organizations, including the National Association of Women in Construction, San Diego Chapter, and is inseparable from her pandemic rescue pup Ginger.

Jonas Johnson, MBA, PMP | Project Manager I

Jonas joins L2 Solutions as a Project Manager following a successful career in the U.S. military leading people and projects around the world. He is a graduate of USC Marshall’s Master of Business for Veterans program and enjoys all things endurance sports. Jonas’ purpose at L2 is to create real value for our customers and contribute meaningfully to the development and productivity of the entire L2 team.

Carie Flores | Project Manager I

Carie’s goal is to hit the ground running with her niche in project management. She is an expert with organization and the go to planner in all avenues of her life. She is looking forward in contributing to the team with her attention to detail on municipal code, love of creating reports, and values in maintaining exceptional rapport. Carie is a San Diego native and in her free time, you can find her on the pickleball court or diving into some spicy seafood boil.

Mike Jarmon | Field Engineer

With over two decades of invaluable experience in the utility industry, Mike has established himself as a seasoned expert in both subsurface utility infrastructure and distribution design. Throughout his career, Mike has exhibited a profound dedication to enhancing the efficiency, safety, and reliability of utility infrastructure. Always one to embrace change, Mike embarks on the next chapter of his journey, his passion for driving positive change in the utility landscape remaining undeterred.

Brendan Miller | Technical Planner I

Brendan is a driven business professional with a keen eye for process efficiency and operational excellence. With a background in logistics, he is looking forward to applying previously learned attributes to a new opportunity in the utility industry.

Hunter Hoyle | Program Coordinator I

Hunter provides business support through the analysis and coordination of document control and change control for design, processes and documents. He adheres to and enforced established document control procedures. Hunter has a strong work ethic, extensive organizational and administrative support skills.

Alexis Sanchez | Program Coordinator I

An enthusiastic team player in multiple industries, goal oriented and engages in best-management practices. Alexis graduated from National University with a Bachelors of Science in Construction Engineering. Alexis’s goal as a Project Specialist at L2 Solutions is to sharpen his skills and support the team in achieving goals and excelling.

Brianna Wood | Program Coordinator I

Brianna’s goal in joining the L2 team is to bring creativity, innovation, and a fresh set of eyes to all her work. She enjoys fostering teamwork and healthy discourse to ensure the team and all stakeholders are united in vision and timelines. Coming from educational sales and business development, Brianna plans to use her strong communication style, clear planning and vision creating, as well as her passion to improve the world around her to support each team member she works with.

Colt Cooney | Program Coordinator I

As L2’s new Project Coordinator, Colt strives towards team cohesion, exemplary client relations, and a continual aim for company growth. Colt moved to San Diego in 2004 to continue pursuing his degree in Journalism, where it has since blossomed into the field of Technical Writing, where he now holds an extensive history in Engineering Documentation, Procedures, as well as Portfolio and Project Management.

Don Cardenas | Program Coordinator I

Based in the vibrant city of Carlsbad, California, Don brings a decade of operational expertise to his role as Project Coordinator at L2 Solutions. His experience in leading commercial LED Retrofit projects has equipped him with a deep understanding of organizational efficiency and lifecycle management. Driven by a genuine love for creativiy and a commitment to excellence, Don is dedicated to delivering exceptional results in every project he undertakes.

Alisa Santa Maria | Project Specialist

Our Municipal Intake Project Specialist handles the administrative tasks for the Municipal conflict checks. Her stewardship, attention to detail, organization, and reporting skills play an instrumental role in our Municipal Intake team’s success. She looks forward to building relationships with a focus on onboarding and creating visual aids. Her drive is incessant and when she is not working she is likely making something! She has painted murals in town, done hand lettering for special events, painted nursery walls, and recently learned to quilt. 

Samantha Roman | Project Specialist

Samantha’s goal is to support and encourage the L2 team by fostering a positive work environment through cheerful communication, attention to detail, and an open minded attitude where everyone feels supported and valued. She recently had a career shift and is looking forward to using all of the energy, planning, and organizational skills she gathered after six years of being a preschool teacher in this next season of her career!
